This week in review

“Love & Other Crimes”

I’m off to the Romance Writers of New Zealand “Love & Other Crimes” conference tomorrow — woohoo! Can’t wait to catch up with all my writing friends and have a face-to-face conversation instead of a virtual one. The only fly in my ointment right now (well, aside from the fact I’m still recovering this darn flu) is….

1) I can’t quite decide what to wear to the Royally Romantic cocktail party tomorrow night. LBD? LPD (Little Purple Dress)? Sparkly full-length halter that might just be totally OTT? I suck at this sort of thing. Might be chucking all three in the suitcase at this rate.

2) There are so many really interesting workshops on offer, I’m having a hard time choosing which ones to attend — aaargh! Why did you do this to us, Conference Committee? WHY? *whimpers*

The Crystal Warrior

My wonderful, extremely clever, DH has designed me a landing page for my latest release. Gotta love a man who does this stuff because he thinks it’s “fun” *VBG*

So aside from having the most gorgeous cover ever ====>

The Crystal Warrior now has it’s own mini-website landing page thingie with a really nifty excerpt widget. How cool is that?

Also, Smashwords has now approved The Crystal Warrior for premium distribution, so Wulf and Chalcedony will soon be revealing their innermost secrets at major online retailers such as Apple, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, Diesel Ebooks, Whitcoulls etc. As per usual, I’ll update links as soon as they come to hand on my Books page. (And of course you can still find the Kindle version of The Crystal Warrior at Amazon US, UK & Germany.)

The other nifty thing I discovered this week was a website called Kindlegraph, which allows people to request electronic autographs of Kindle books. Clever, huh? I’ve registered The Crystal Warrior on Kindlegraph, and I’ve been practicing doing a decent autograph with my mouse–  Just sayin’….

Scent Of A Man

Hard on the heels of this lovely review of Scent Of A Man from my author-friend Christina Phillips, I was updating my Amazon Author Page bio and found my first Amazon review for this book. It’s a 5-star review, too, so I’m really stoked– Woot!

Secrets Volume 30 “Desires Unleashed”

Speaking of Amazon, today I also discovered that our print anthology, Secrets Volume 30 “Desires Unleashed” is now available for pre-order at Yay! The sooner it’s available there, the sooner it’ll be available somewhere in New Zealand so I can get my hands on some copies to give my family and friends. Can’t wait!

That’s it from me.

Talk to you next week, when I’ve caught up on sleep after the conference!
