It’s officially “official”!

I’ve been holding off announcing this because it wasn’t yet “official” and, superstitious creature that I am, I didn’t want to jinx it.

But no longer. I can now announce that I’m no longer a one-book wonder, because Red Sage Publishing have bought my second demons novella and the contract is in the mail — woohoo!

From what I’ve been told at this stage of the game, Let Sleeping Demons Lie will be released between December and February — which isn’t really that far away, now I come to think about it.

December would be nice – an early Christmas present. So would January – something to celebrate my birthday with (‘coz, yanno, I’m no spring chicken anymore and I’m seriously thinking of banning birthdays… well, except for the presents, LOL). Hell, let’s be honest here, any month is fine with me!

Here’s a snippet from the blurbs, synopses and other marketing bits and pieces that I wrote for Red Sage to promote Let Sleeping Demons Lie:

Lion shape-shifter paired with amnesiac cat-Demon—definitely a match made in heaven! Or in this case, perhaps a match made in Hell… especially when you add in a devious Demon King who’s using them to further his secret agenda, a half-mad Lycan Queen, and some truly heinous Hyenas.

Kitty vs Lion…. Watch the fur fly in Let Sleeping Demons Lie!

BTW, you don’t need to have read Even Demons Get The Blues to enjoy Let Sleeping Demons Lie, but I do revisit some of my favorite characters. And speaking of characters, I wonder what the talented design team at Red Sage will come up with for the cover?

Can’t wait!

Thanks, Suzanne! I’m quite delighted about this, and I’m actually starting to believe I might deserve the label of “author” *VBG

  2. Yay for your new novella. Love the title & the premise. And yes your cover for Even Demons Get the Blues was fantastic. Praying to the cover gods for a repeat performance :)

Thanks, Eleni. Naamah was such a vivid character and I had to delete so many of her scenes from Even Demons Get The Blues, that I was quite heartbroken. I just had to give her her own story. So I’m thrilled you like the premise!

And yes, I’m offering up prayers to the cover gods on a daily basis ;-)
