Got caught completely on the hop this morning when I realized I had a Writers Gone Wild post due that should have been posted 5pm yesterday. Ooops! Cue some frantic racking of brains at 7.10 this morning after dropping DD off at hockey practice.
The result was a bit of a lighthearted, fun post about some of the things I’ve learned over the course of nine years of attending writer’s conferences. The “things” include such delights as watching out for unintentional cold showers… before you even step into the shower. And the frustration of dealing with fancy alarm clocks that seem to mysteriously plug themselves back in when you’ve gotten totally fed up and disconnected them from the power source. Oh, and there’s something you might want to consider when wearing demonically red contact lens to cocktail parties, too.
Have I piqued your curiosity?
If so, you can read post for this fortnight over at Writers Gone Wild.
