This coming week

First off…

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

As you can see from the photo above, DD has been busy decorating our street-facing window to encourage trick or treaters to wander up our driveway and knock on our door. That little orange pumpkin you can see at the bottom of the window? That will have a torch in it tonight, so it’ll look even more spooky. Plus, if all goes well and I can handle the vamp contacts I bought at Armageddon over the weekend, I’ll have spooky red eyes to surprise the trick or treaters with *evil grin*

I mentioned in a previous post that our group blog, Dark Side DownUnder was having a Halloween Birthday blog bash to celebrate our first birthday — there’s a huuuge heap of giveways, plus we’re sharing Halloween stories. The celebration started this morning and runs till Nov 2nd, so here’s the direct link to the DSDU Birthday Party.

And speaking of Armageddon, cos-play costumes are really popular and you’ll see all manner of characters wandering around!

Check out this photo of DD dressed as Soi Fong from the manga, Bleach. She had people asking to take her photo *g*

(I posted the rest of the photos I took at Amageddon to an album on my Facebook personal profile, if you’re interested.)

Last, but never least….

This coming Friday, 4th November, I’m very excited to announce that author Phyllis Campbell will be a guest on my blog celebrating her November release, a novella in the Regency Christmas Summons anthology collection.

That’s it for now. Hope you have a wonderful week! And don’t overdo the candy *g*

  1. Happy Halloween, Maree!

Love your window dressing, and cool costume of your DD.

    • DD loves decorating the window–especially when the little kids tell her “You’ve got the best window ever!”. Whereas DS just likes scoffing any leftover sweets *g*
