Yesterday I posted about the recent Romance Writers of New Zealand conference book signing event. And although I wasn’t signing this year (maybe next year, when I have more books in print and more time to ship them), I did get a lovely surprise courtesy of our conference bookseller, Frances Loo, owner of Chapter in Mt Eden.
Chapter is one of those stores (or “shops” as we call them here in NZ) that combines everything I love: great coffee, specialty teas, wonderful food, and books! No surprises it’s a favorite meeting place for RWNZ members:
At Chapter we understand that there’s something perfectly relaxing about the combination of a good book and a cup of steaming tea. Our welcoming store will have you feel immediately at ease as you browse our selection of gourmet loose leaf teas and shelves full of novels to lose yourself in.
At Chapter, we believe in the expression “read books, drink tea, be happy!”
Frances loves romance, while her cousin Christina, is a huge fan of crime and mystery fiction. So between them both, they’ve got all the important genres covered ;-) And speaking of romance books, I was delighted to spot three somewhat familiar books on the conference stand over the weekend:
Seeing three of my crystal warrior print books for sale on Frances’ table? Yup. That was a pretty cool defining moment for me.
